Fragments of a Fashion Week

Last week was cool! Between job interviews and hitting the gym, I was able to squeeze in a little bit of São Paulo Fashion Week (whoever reads this will think I’m amazingly busy, which is not so true now, but I’m working on it lol). Anyway, both days I attended the event, I snapped some picture of Bienal and today I put them together for you.

This year’s theme was “Sustainability”. With Rio +20 happening this week, and all of the talk about how can use our planet’s resources without damaging it, for me it was the perfect choice. The entrance walls were made of bamboos, followed by a runway that seemed to be inside of a forest. Really breath taking. Inside of the Bienal, the walls had recycled paper clued in it, creating an awesome pop-up pattern. Everything screamed “Let’s help the Earth”. I loved it!

What about you? Feeling a little bit of Brazil?

Tudo gritava “Vamos ajudar a Terra”. Amei!

E quanto à você? Achou legal ou muito clichê?

Thank you for reading!
